Can you read the bag? That's a hard image to make an icon out of. [livejournal.com profile] sagcat made a brave attempt anyway.

Oh, and btw: My Cat Hates You. Just so you know.

Even if you can't read it it's recognizable if you've seen it before. Props to the [livejournal.com profile] sagcat :)

(did I actually just say that?)

(I think you did.)

It's not a terribly flattering picture of my ass, but it was just too silly to pass up. I don't think I'll keep it as my default for too long. *lol*

lol But the green stars are so *cute* ;p

I love that belt. I was so happy when I saw it at Hot Topic, and flipped it over to see the words "100% PVC".

And thank you. ;^)

psst: Richard needs an LJ.

He just got one; he'll be making an appearance soon :p

[identity profile] aprilstarchild.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Woohoo. Must tease him.

*pokes with a stick*

[identity profile] dragon-mintz.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
Just don't scare him, that's all I ask ;p

[identity profile] aprilstarchild.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
I won't, I promise. And not just because you'd kill me.

And thanks :)

I just had the weirdest convo with my dad. I saw a cat named Schrodinger and groaned and said that was a terrible name for a cat.

My dad was surprised that I knew what Schrodinger's Cat was, and asked where I'd heard about it. (BTW, the answer to that is, the historical/sci-fi novel The Summer of Love by Lisa Mason. It has time travellers.)

I also pointed out that my most recent ex was, um, a physics major. I do randomly pick things up here and there, y'know.

I have to admit I was kinda insulted that it would be this huge shock that I would know something like that. *rolls eyes* My dad normally treats me as a smart person.

Theres also a Scifi novellete called "Schrodinger's Cat." Somewhere in some Anthology. By one of the famous...guys.
(Aquarius=bad with names and facts...)

[identity profile] 5minutelimit.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
...looked it up. Ursula K LeGuin. Duh. She wrote it from the cat's point of view.

[identity profile] mechalith.livejournal.com 2006-01-03 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
There are a lot of people out there that wouldn't recognize the reference. I had to explain it to Becca the other day, for example. The only reason I know is that I read a ton of Sci-fi.

[identity profile] aprilstarchild.livejournal.com 2006-01-03 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
It's one thing to be like, "wow, that's obscure, how cool that you know that." But the gist I got from my dad was that I was dumb.

[identity profile] aprilstarchild.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
There's a book. It's called Bad Cat. I bought a couple of them and have already given them away for presents. I have to not buy anymore, or everyone I know with cats would get one. That's a lot of books. So I post the URL instead.

[identity profile] dragon-mintz.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
I had never seen it before. Thanks!

That is just awesome.

I wish Coral had gotten a picture of the floof in her sink.

*giggle*

[identity profile] matt-nothing.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
The only reason I can read the bag is because I know what it is. One of those things.

[identity profile] aprilstarchild.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the general consensus I'm getting. Oh well.

[identity profile] sagcat.livejournal.com 2006-01-02 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
well, that's kind of what we talked about when we made the icon. If you want both booties in the shot, I had to crop from the y in booty to your left hip. Cut that down to 100 pixels, and that's the size of the bag. Not much can be done about it, uless you remove *your* booty, which is really what the icon is all about, so that would be pointless.

In the end, if someone doesn't recognize the veggie booty bag, they probably wouldn't get the joke anyway, so it was a go.

Personally, I think you're just not bending over far enough. shrug

Personally, I think you're just not bending over far enough.

There's no good context for that, is there? *LOL* Well, maybe this one. I changed my username, but I don't know how many people actually see that.

i loves it!
