I'm going to join in the chorus and say I like Pink's song/video "Stupid Girls". So, there, or something. *nod*

You can watch it on the website...I think it's quicktime, I could be wrong, but in any case it's right there on the front page.

Today:

Bank: I'm going to get a secured credit card, so I need $200 to start it with. I know my main reason for getting one, should be to build up my credit rating. My real reason is so that I can buy my own shit online without whining to family and friends. I can't spend more money than I give them, so it's pretty safe. And I checked out the actual card--their fees aren't astronomical, they report to all the major credit bureaus, that kind of thing. I'd get one through my credit untion, but they don't offer them any more.

I also need to get the routing number for my savings account so I can do my taxes online. I did them on paper already (yay, between state and federal I'm getting around $500), but you get the money so much faster when you do it online, and supposedly since I'm a 1040EZ, there are places that do it free. The money's going to end up going to PCC. Damn me and my trying to be responsible. *grumble* But I promised myself that once I get school paid off, I can buy my own harp, so there's that.

Costco: Adderall. Need me some Adderall. I'm running out. Costco on a Saturday, I must be freaking insane.

vegan ranch dressing! )

Contact stuff is expensive, even at Costco. Oy! What's annoying is that whether something is for hard or soft lenses, is in smallish print near the bottom. I got some eyedrops too. Now I won't be annoying the ophthamology department so often for samples of stuff. And I won't have tiny bottles of various things littering every surface in the bathroom, my bedroom, and my purse.

On the other hand, a big thing of organic salad greens is way cheap. Go me. The only time I really wish I had a car is when I shop at Costco...they have all sorts of things I actually eat normally, for cheap; and there's no way I'm going to try to haul it all home. Also, where the hell would I put it?

The price of adderall seems to randomly go up and down, so annoying. For a while it was around $40, then it was less than $20, and today it was $23. WTF? I have this mental image of people doing futures trading on amphetamines.

They had a 40G iPod for just less than $300. Excuse me while I try not to drool. They didn't have the older 20G ones, which is too bad; I'll bet their price is going down. There was a 40G mp3 player of another brand for less than $200, it's something to think about. Assuming my dad and I can't figure out how to fix my mp3 player. I didn't even bring it with me today, I just brought my old discman. Grr.

Random thought o' the day: Most liquid cleansers, shampoos, etc...they have various parts of saponified coconut oil: sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, that stuff. Tons of Lush stuff has SLS in it. It's all made from coconuts. Which means that somewhere, there's huge farms of coconuts. Where are they!?! Have you ever heard of the idea? They have to exist out there.

Hm. Must make soup or something. And then clean the bathroom.

Harry Potter ramblings )

OMG. Mushroom soup. I've eaten far too much of it. *burp* Damn. Also, made a disaster of the kitchen.

EDIT: So of course the best thing to finish that meal off with, is a tequila sunrise. Heh. There goes the last of the tequila in the house. I thought we had more. My parents seem to be drinking all my alcohol (you should see how little is left of the citrus vodka I bought last summer, and I've consumed very little of it), which I think is really funny. I have a bottle of vanilla vodka in there now. Let's see how long it lasts.

The Wikipedia entry on Bisexuality has some interesting stuff in it.

I especially like the ideas behind the words "heteroflexible" and "homoflexible," which would indicate people who generally are attracted to one particular gender, but don't rule out the idea of the other. Heh. I mean, it just gives me the giggles. Yay for Kinsey 1 and 5's.

Dood. Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, is bi. *blink* Whoa. *lol* That makes him just that much hotter. Boys in eyeliner, yum. I firmly believe that more boys should wear eyeliner. It works for Billie Joe. It works for Dominic Monaghan.

Anyway. La la la, up late on LJ and wandering around wikipedia, what else is new?

BTW: I love the internet sometimes. I start by poking around wikipedia looking at their stuff on pansexuality, and it's led to my watching Green Day music videos via Quicktime. The official Green Day website has all their videos, via Quicktime and WMP. Sweeet.

Random entry, supposedly anonymous, from a quotes page on Wikipedia: ”Some people move in lesbian circles. I move in bisexual dodecahedrons.”
