aprilstarchild: (Gir playing DDR)
The "Japanese food here at home" has somehow turned into a small party. The menus is: sushi, veg and non; tempura, veg and non; vegan miso soup. Lots of rice. Green tea, barley tea, possibly sake.

The background on my phone is now a picture of the DDR machine at Wunderland. This guy who works there was flirting with me. I kept thinking, he does not know how old I am, he looks 17!! He'd clocked out and we were playing DDR for a few rounds, and while I was playing Panic Park with [livejournal.com profile] ruby_wings, he dropped a stuffed M&M in front of me, told me to have a good night, and left. I asked one of the people working there how old he is, he's 20. I took the M&M, but I left him in a goofy spot in my mom's car, I'm waiting to see when she notices.

So, tomorrow: gay cowboys and Japanese food. Sounds like a good day to me. *lol*

Now, I go off in search of slash.

I realize this only makes sense if you read music, but I saw this randomly on LJ in the comments to a fic, and almost died laughing:

If you don't read music: The symbol is used over a note, to indicate that you should hold that note until the conductor/director cuts you off. "Rit." is short for ritard, and it means you should slow down the tempo of the music.

I already managed to lose my goddamn cell phone. It was either on the max, or at the movie theater. I tried the theater once but I'm going to call them again tomorrow, and I'll call trimet too.

Having guests over is apparently not enough to keep my dad from yelling at me about it. Yes, dad, I lose shit. I've left my old cell phone on the max. I've left my purse on the max twice--once my wallet was stolen, the other time it wasn't. Gaaah. I should've told my dad to either insure it or not get me an expensive one, when I asked for a cell phone. I already know: I lose shit.

The party was great! I made a ton of tempura and miso soup. [livejournal.com profile] ruby_wings and Chris made sushi. It took forever, but everything turned out really yummy! My FryDaddy is great, and we're going to have a Vegan Doughnut party at some point. That could be a lot of fun, if we make different kinds of frosting and buy a ton of sprinkles. Voodoo Donuts has cake doughnuts, and I like yeast-raised. So, I gotta fry my own.

The movie, Brokeback Mountain, I really liked. I'm glad I read the short story first. The movie adds a few things here and there (some just helped clarify a few things in my mind), and it just breaks your damn heart, I'm telling you.

The apartment downstairs from [livejournal.com profile] jameslentz and [livejournal.com profile] ourglasslake, it looks like, will be available for rent. OMG. I want it. Bad. *lol* Anyone wanna split a place just off SE 51st and Powell?

I'm so tired. I've done a load of dishes, and I'm going to bed--I have to be at work tomorrow at seven am!
