It's near unanimous--April needs bounce, apparently.

My favorite MA at work is leaving--the one who works for my doctor. Waaaaah!! I may see her eventually, she works at the Oregon Country Fair every year.

She brought me down some Lexapro, and I hugged her and told her I'd miss her. And then she said the strangest thing. "I think you'll be famous someday, once you figure out where to put all that energy and intelligence. I just know I'll be reading about you eventually."

It was a compliment, and a pretty awesome one. But one of my coworkers was sitting nearby, and for some reason that made me feel super self-conscious. I mean, how do you reply to that? All I could think to say was, "Oh, okay, thanks."

Going to the Fez tonight, one way or another. I haven't figured out what to wear yet, really. Grr. Need to go figure it out. I'm thinking my lace-up pirate pants and my black tank top with the lace edging. We'll see. Also, take a short shower (my hair doesn't need washing). I found a vegan version of that silicone-based stuff that makes your hair super shiny, yay!!

Wooo I need to eat something. I remembered to take my afternoon adderall and then promptly forgot to eat! I'm all shaky and stuff.

Bought the shoes. I got Bust magazine on my spree at Powell's on Tuesday, and Moo Shoes had an ad. It said to put BUST in the discount line when I check out. I got 5% off, which took more off the shoes than the magazine cost. Sweeeet.

Yes, they were expensive shoes. Ouch. They better last a while or I'm gonna be pissed.

I don't buy shoes very often. I have high standards: They have to be vegan. They have to have room for my birkenstock insoles (or already have really good arch support--so far, only birks and chacos do). I'd prefer them to not be made in a sweatshop. No huge brand logos. Not too ugly.

So I buy pricey shoes, but not very often. Unless I find a pair of heels I really really like (I saw a pair of Dr. Scholl's on Tuesday that I would have bought had they not been leather), all of my shoe purchases are just replacing shoes that have worn out.

My mom's upstairs, so I left the exact change for the shoes on top of her wallet. Yay!! New work shoes!! *happy dance*

Next paycheck: Contacts. WoOt.

The kitten hasn't explored my room properly, and tries to do so whenever given a chance. I've caught her by the tail several times as she tried to run under furniture. I was running back and forth from the bathroom to my room while getting ready, and she took advantage of that. On the upside, I now have pictures of the kitten in the bathtub.

Dangly earrings this evening. I haven't worn these out yet, they're part of a set. But if I wear both the earrings and the necklace, it's more appropriate for bellydancing.

I'm leaving in ten, and taking the max downtown, and meeting friends at the Fez. *iz excited* I love dancing!
