In other news: I forgot to take my afternoon adderall. It's too late to take it now. Someone stole my brain. Y'know it's bad when you have a hard time concentrating long enough to read peoples' posts on your friends list. Wheee I have no attention span!! Because it's not just my earlier dose wearing off; the short-acting stuff has a "kick-back" effect wherein your ADD is worse for a little while after it wears off. Long-acting meds don't get that, but long-acting meds are exponentially more expensive.

I'm still getting my laundry done, though.

I'm playing hooky from chorus tonight. Well, to be honest, I really don't feel all that great. I think it's PMS, it's about that time. But, the lymph nodes in my armpits are swollen (who put gumballs in my armpits!?!) and sore and occasionally get a sharp pain as well. According to my doc's MA, I'm probably fighting off an infection. Chris' illness is not the actual flu, just a bad virus. I still don't want to catch it. I'm also afraid I exposed people to it last night, although I've been a religious hand-washer lately.

So it's either PMS, my body trying to keep me from getting ill, or an interesting combo. I guess we'll know tomorrow.

But I skipped chorus mostly so I'd be sure to get enough damn sleep tonight. I'm on a small deficit, but on chorus nights I always end up going to bed pretty dang late. So tonight I go to bed nice and early, and that'll help me fight anything off.

Last post today. And it's memeless!!

Fiona Apple's new album is out. *happy dance* I'm going to buy it. Depeche Mode has a new one coming out that I might give a listen. It's safe for me to buy the latest NIN album, and of course I'm going to buy Franz Ferdinand's second album.

So, I'm going to spend a lot of money on CD's soon. *lol*

galactogogue gave me a burned copy of another album I'd (with a bit of shame) considering purchasing, which is Justin Timberlake's "Justified" album. For my own amusement, under where she wrote the title, I used a sharpie to write "OMGWTFLOL". I like a few songs on it, and from what little listen I've given it I'll probably end up liking more. I used to love that kind of music in high school, and apparently my taste for that kind of thing stuck around.

As work (and walk everywhere) shoes: Yes? No? Saw them at Moo Shoes, which sells vegan shoes, among other (also vegan) items. My dad agreed to let me borrow his plastic money in exchange for my cash to buy work shoes online. Yay! I've decided just to buy something non-ugly and semi-squishy, and I'll just put my trusty Birkenstock insoles in them. That's what I've been doing with my Skechers, which were a (sorta) hand-me-down from aeonflux1973, and which are now beat up beyond recognition. The soles are peeling off, they make "squish" noises after I walk somewhere wet. The squish is all gone. They're just all beat to hell. I got someone-else's money's worth out of them. *lol*

My parents made stir fry for dinner and cooked the chicken seperately. So I have lunch for work tomorrow. Yay!!

I think I'll do the dishes (I'm washing a lot of containers) and take a shower and get my tired and semi-ill ass into bed.
