Y'know, I thought of a million things to say all day, and now that I finally have the time to post, I've forgotten most of them. Some of them will actually get posted, some might not.

Okay! It was really fucking hot today. I had to be outside from ten am to seven pm in a white button down shirt, long grey skirt ('cause pants are even hotter and I hate shorts), and black apron, and it was around 100 degrees. Thankfully I wasn't asked to do anything too hard, and they let me rinse my head off in the hose, and it went relatively quickly.

Monday...what the hell did I do Monday? Oh....slept in real late and then just hung around the house until I had to run off to be on time to the movie downtown with Jon. We saw Bend it Like Beckham by default 'cause he couldn't think of a movie he was really into seeing, so I picked. :P It was cliche but I liked it anyway. Except the love interest looked like Nick, who I've run into now a few times, but never longer than it takes to say "hi" and recognize each other's faces. Seriously. I think I've said all of six words to him.

After the movie we sat in Pioneer Square yapping and then I decided I was hungry. We went to the Virginia Cafe after walking down like six blocks 'cause I couldn't remember where it was, which is right on the other side of Nordstrom's. They make really good burgers, and will put a Gardenburger in it instead for 50 cents :) Our waitress was really cute. She had black dreadlocks and a short leather-ish looking skirt and ......wow. I thought she might've been a Suicide Girls model. So I order a gin'n'tonic and he orders a screwdriver, and she makes them doubles for only a dollar more. And then we each have another (the normal way this time). By then, of course, we're mildly intoxicated. While I'm in the bathroom (why is it at the TOP of the stairs?) Jon asks her if she IS an SG model. The answer is no, but she gets asked that a lot. I hope she thinks it's a compliment. Thank god, the MAX was only a block away. We were, of course, idiots the whole way back to Bink's house, where I crashed for the night after thoroughly amusing everyone there with our drunkenness.

I woke up really late Tuesday and was badly craving donuts, so off to Sesame Donuts, where I bought a half dozen. Maybe it's because the Krispy Kreme opened that day and I knew I'd never get any of those. Then to Uwajimaya's. Bought lots of food 'cause I was craving miso soup so bad, and didn't have any of the ingredients. Also got a fan, chopsticks, a pretty bowl, and......hair dye. I already *bought* the black permanent stuff, but it'll be a while before I use it, and this stuff is temporary and sort of reddish, judging by the hair sample thingie. It has directions in English, but not very clear ones. I hope I don't dye my whole body pink or something. Ran home and then ran to work for the closing shift and then ran back home and stayed up waaaaaay to late again....

And then it was Wednesday and I went to work. How incredibly thrilling, right?

I did get my financial aid forms. I have to take some sort of orientation and go to a bank and find four people willing to be references for my loan. ARGH. But it was sort of one of those moments where the steering wheel in your head turns and suddenly you're facing...*that* way. I mean, it's one thing to *plan* to go full time, and fill out the fafsa, and all that. It's another to get the slip of paper saying when the grants will be dispersed, and how to set up direct deposit of funds exceeding books and tuition, and all that stuff. Holy Shit. I also got called by Mr. Sonnleitner about my work placement for my co-op ed credits this fall that are required for my program. Don't I sound all grown up. I'm still not half as intellectual as Noog's friends list. Perhaps one day, eh?

So now I've taken like two hours to read my friends list, and half an hour to write this post. This is what happens when I stay away from a computer for several days. I must have 2 zillion spam messages in my moosemail account. Also, I'll probably get taken off of Rosemilk's friends list for talking about drinking and going on for far too long. So I end this post, here, dear readers.
