The Movie That Never Happened
Aug. 1st, 2003 11:27 pmLast night I was supposed to see Holes, and because the Max was an hour late, I didn't. Tonight I was supposed to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and because an underager was visiting Cherie, I didn't. How irritating. Also, Rylee showed up just as I was about to leave, but then she drove me and Bink home, so I got to see her a little, and that's all good. Plus she's into learning belly dance.
I still have not called Kaiser for my many needed appointments. Nor have I called my dentist for same. Nor I have I returned Mr. Sonnleitner's call, finished my financial aid paperwork, paid my debt to Bink and the EmergiCenter, called Jewel asking about harp lessons/rental, saved up any money for a car, or done my laundry. I am halfway through my third novel in a few weeks, however. So life isn't all bad.
In a crazy twist of irony, just as I'm planning to leave Fred Meyer, I'm finally being given more responsibility in the garden center. ARGH. I've wanted to be an official garden center employee (as opposed to a lowly cashier) for forever. But *now* I'm being trusted with more stuff, just as I'm leaving in September.
I've never looked forward to school so much in my life.
