A thingie from
underthethrow:
Lots of pillows or just one?
Two. A normal one, and the cheapest "ergonomic" one that Ikea makes.
What kind of books do you read?
I'm partial to fantasy and sci-fi, especially when the author is female. But I'm also fond of non-fiction and lots of other fiction books.
What are your neighbors like?
The ones next to us, are two women, and they smoke a lot, and have tattoos. That's about all I know.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
This too shall pass?
What's really creepy?
The idea of walking into a spiderweb without seeing it. Gaaah. Also, ghosts and stuff.
What kind of movies are you in to?
Um....I dunno. I'm not a huge movie buff.
Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory?
Salty and greasy, or sweet and greasy.
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
gmail, facebook, LJ, google reader, questionable content (webcomic)
What was the last thing you bought?
Bus fare
Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Salty food, usually.
What do you do to change your mood?
Get online and talk to people. Sex. Not at the same time.
What was the last meal you ate?
Noodles with soy curls (they're good, I swear) and oil and garlic and stuff.
Do you want to learn another language?
Yeah, even though I suck at languages.
Five things you can't live without?
Vegan food, Shawn, a comfy place to sleep, the internet, music. I mean, I wouldn't die without most of those things, but I'm pretty unhappy without them.
Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 36. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?
"Jon Theofilusson was considerably apprehensive about being burned and spoke often about it in whispers." From "Iceland's Bell" by Halldor Laxness. That paragraph was about a guy who was sentenced to be burned to death. It's actually a funny book.
What's something that you'd like to say to someone right now?
I love how we haven't really spoken since we had an argument two years ago, and then you try to visit me in the ICU (Denied!) and then call me on the ward. Really? Do you think that's a good time to try to rekindle a friendship? 'Cause it's not.
What are you looking forward to?
Going to Canada for a week. Being able to ride my bicycle again. GETTING MY NEW GLASSES.
Do you prefer boxers/briefs/tighty whities on a guy?
Depends on the guy. Except never tighty-whities. Just, no.
What is your favorite electronic accessory?
My new phone.
