Strange but true: It really is kinda romantic to kiss someone goodbye at the train station, even though non-passengers aren't allowed on the platform any more. It helps that Union Station is almost entirely old marble. After I kissed him and he went onto the platform, I took my bike to the pedestrian path that goes over it, and managed to find Shawn wrestling with his bike box one last time. When he was done I yelled his name, and he looked around confused for a second before I said, "Look up!" He saw me and grinned. "Whatcha doin' up there?" "Lookin' at youuuuuu!" It was awesome.

Tonight I'm gonna let myself mope a bit. But just tonight.

Tomorrow is ArtCrank, the kick-off event for Oregon Manifest. All sorts of bicycle-themed posters will be on sale, all for $30 a pop. Yes, Shawn will have stuff there, although I'd probably go anyway.

This weekend is EarthenGrove's retreat. Which reminds me, I need to write a ritual. Next week at some point I'm camping with seams_unusual at the coast...

It's even more romantic to kiss someone when they arrive from a train trip. I got to do this in the first month of Lee and my relationship. :)
