Tomorrow:
*Finish laundry
*Make packing list
*Pack my bike basket thing with my new rack I bought today (woot!) and the nice new saddle that's currently on the mixte
*Take the 4 and 71 buses to Bike Gallery and get the Miyata, which has had its frozen seat post taken out. (YES! WOOHOOO! HOLY SHIT I'm so happy people seriously yeah, the one HUGE thing I was worried about is taken care of, and now I can unreservedly love this bike)
*Take more buses (since my bike will be seat post-less) to the Community Cycling Center and get a seat post that actually fits, as Bike Gallery doesn't have one. Put on my nicer saddle. Ask them for advice/hardware on putting on my new fancy rack.
*Ride bike downtown to pay back my loan from Steph R.
*Ride to Shawn's house at some point to stay the night
Friday:
*Grab stuff I'm borrowing from Shawn, the tent and tiny sleeping bag
*Ride to Trader Joe's to buy stuff for this weekend, such as little spinach pizzas and ingredients for travel food
*Go someplace to get some camping supplies, like a pot for boiling water and utensils
*Go to People's or someplace to buy soup mixes etc.
*Make food packable
*Pack!! Set out clothes for next morning.
*Take shower
*Go to ritual with EarthenGrove
*Try desperately to sleep instead of being up most of the night feeling nervous
Saturday:
*Wake up before the ass-crack of dawn, eat a good breakfast, put panniers and therma-rest on bike, ride downtown, get on max to Hillsboro, get off max at end of line, and ride 71 miles in the rain to the beautiful awesome ocean with lots of great people!!
