When you buy/sell on ebay (or wherever), do you enjoy getting/sending little notes?

I'm sending off the dresses I sold today, and stuck a note in there that said basically "Thank you, hope you enjoy the dresses, please leave me feedback because I'm new to ebay."

I'm going to leave feedback too, it seems only polite, although all I have to say is that she paid the invoice in a day, which is nice. Damn, I'm green on this "selling online" thing.

I like getting notes! Most people who make handmade items will send you notes (if you buy from etsy) as well as their business card and their friends business cards.
As a seller- I try to always send notes. I have a stash of San-x stationary and stickers that I use for that purpose :)

Yeah! I wish I'd thought of it earlier so I could grab some stationary. I know I have some somewhere.

It wasn't a handmade item, just a couple of (really nice) vintage dresses.

They sold for a bit more than I paid for them. I might make a small-time hobby out of buying dresses at Red Light and Buffalo Exchange and selling them on ebay. I love 70's-era Gunne Sax!!
