Moving by bike is awesome!

Twenty people showed up to move Ed by bicycle. He's moved from Sellwood to N. Portland, a distance of about eight miles, most of which is gradually uphill.

I'd never ridden my bike with a trailer on it. Donna has a nice older Burley trailer, so I hitched it up and helped out. It was super fun! I loved seeing people's reactions to this caravan of twenty loaded bikes! Also, it was hard work. And at then end of it, there was beer and lots of friends to talk to. It was hard to peel myself away for the "experimental karaoke" thing I went to with jenhowell. I may have enjoyed it better if either of us had been able to sing, or if I wasn't so damn sleepy. Maybe that means I'll actually sleep tonight? That would be nice.

Did you know Holocene has an old-fashioned photobooth? I got some silly shots of myself, but also one of my favorite pictures of me, ever. Nice!
