(no subject)

I don't have a TV, so I'll have to watch it tomorrow online, but Neil Gaiman is going to be on the Colbert Report tonight.

o_O

Neil's dad just died, so that might be weird for him. I would assume they're going to talk about the Coraline movie, or him receiving the Newbery Award.

In other news, not drinking coffee today has left me sleepy with a headache, and my digestive tract is still unhappy. The semi-constant nausea sucks.

And, predictably, when I told a coworker why I was out of sorts, she jokingly asked if I was pregnant. I smiled and told her it would be some kind of miracle if I was.

What really sucks is that I can't take time off work unless I'm really awful, I can't afford to.

I love how everyone assumes that if we females of childbearing age feel nauseated, we must be pregnant. *scowls*

(Of course, I say this after my own scare over the weekend.)

I know!

I have an IUD. Because of my non-monogamy, I've been using condoms. So...not freaking likely. *lol*

Eep! You had a pregnancy scare?

Yeah. Doing this gluten challenge thing has been so bad for my body, I'm nearly a week late and at this rate I might not have one. Thank gods for FirstResponse, which told me quite firmly that I wasn't. (The pill stops you from ovulating, so it really shouldn't be a big deal, but I can't seem to remember that when I'm freaking out.)

All calm goes out the window when you're scared you're pregnant. I had a scare once when I was younger and I was totally freaking out.
