1. Visit to temp agency in Lake Oswego: Fairly painless. Medrecs jobs come in "fairly frequently" so I'm feeling semi-optimistic.
2. Walked into Bishops on Hawthorne and did indeed get bangs. They're almost down to my eyebrows, but they won't stay down. Now I know why
dragon_mintz touches her bangs so much...they want to follow the part like they have for years instead of lying across my forehead. I also got a few layers around my face starting at my chin, and two inches off the back that was all dry and damaged and tangly.
When the towels come out of the dryer I'll take a shower and then take a picture, right now it all looks weird. That and I hate the smell of some stuff the stylist put in it.
3. Made the mistake of walking into Red Light Clothing Exchange. I was on the lookout for a poofy skirt, but instead I made the mistake of walking to the dress section, where I found a bazillion Gunne Sax dresses and knockoffs thereof. o_O I came home with, uh, five more dresses. Three of which are real Gunne Sax. The reason I can justify this, is that one of them is of a fairly popular style--similar to the blue calico one I already have--but never worn. Seriously--the cardboard Gunne Sax tag is still on it and the fabric looks and feels new. FUCK YES. I'm going to ebay that thing, dresses in that style in good shape go for $100 or more.
I love Gunne Sax dresses. Well, not all of them, a few specific styles, but still!
I need to find both rechargeable batteries, I know where the charger is, and take some pictures.

Speaking of which: How have you been selling your vintage stuff? Ebay? Etsy? I have an ebay account but haven't bought or sold anything on it yet and so I have no feedback, making people less likely to buy from me, so I thought maybe I could sell through you? I'd give you like 5 or 10% of the price for helping me.
But you mostly sell '40's stuff, so people won't be looking for Gunne Sax stuff on your account? I don't know!
Help meeeeee.
