aprilstarchildYesterday I bought Veganomicon. I want to make everything, I swear to god.
I went to my niece's one year birthday party. She can stand up but not walk. People are mostly objects to climb. Everything goes into her mouth. She can say "mama" and "dada" and "doggy!" All animals are doggy. Even the two cats she lives with.
When the fifteen of us (!) sang to her, she looked at us all like we were loony. When she got her cupcake, she stuck a big handful in her mouth. She pondered it for several moments while frosting dripped down her arm, before smiling and eating more of it.
SO DAMN CUTE. Holy hell.
Oh, and I bought another knitting magazine last night because I saw a sock pattern I think my mom might like. Aaaargh like I have time to finish all my Christmas knitting anyway. Especially since, while the socks are short, they're on size 2 needles and have a fancy cable down the side!
