Pita bread, hummus, tabbouleh. Easy to make and yummy to eat. Also, requires very little cooking. Woot.
And the rats like it! They're not too fond of the parsley, though; they lick all the stuff off, nibble it a bit, and then drop the leaves.
The tabbouleh recipe I used didn't include garlic or tomatoes, but I remedied that. No cucumbers, yay!
I also have Coconut Bliss, vanilla flavor. That and some cut up strawberries, Oh God Yes. Or maybe I make a strawberry/Coconut Bliss/hempilk shake! OoooOOOoooh!
Speaking of Coconut Bliss, they're going to start selling it in California soon. They got a few private investors and expanded their factory!
axiom and
alicia_stardust, you should ask for it at the Whole Foods near you--they might start carrying it.
Every now and then, I remember that Very Soon, the last Harry Potter book will be out. I need to preorder it from Powell's and show up to their midnight party. With all the move stuff etc., I've been forgetting, but AAAH! It'll be over!
I think I'm scared.

Date: 2007-06-27 01:39 pm (UTC)Next week, we are going down to Northern California and the Bay Area to visit stores and bring them samples of Coconut Bliss. We enjoy charming the store buyers and have had great results in the past, but they are extremely busy people and get deluged with information about new products. We have found, though, that they are highly responsive to requests from customers, and if several people go into the same store and request a product they are almost certain to carry it. If you live in California we encourage you to go into your local store and ask them to carry Coconut Bliss. If you're feeling bold, demand it! If you don't live there, but have friends in the area, please send them. We plan to begin making our first California deliveries in our biodiesel truck in mid-July.
Woo!
