aprilstarchildHoly Hell, parts of last night were a damn comedy of errors.
And then Skinny Puppy was so godforsaken loud that I couldn't tolerate it. I have earplugs now, hah. But, still....how could people stand that? I mean, it was seriously physically painful. Had it been any louder I probably would've felt nauseated!
It's official: I'm going to write to the people who run the Roxy and point out that vegan pancakes are not terribly difficult to make, and if I had an option other than the pita and hummus plate, that would be spiffy. It was pretty good this time, admittedly, but oy! Can't people be more creative than hummus?! Not even their french fries or hash browns are vegan!!
Yesterday at work, every time someone walked down the street in black clothes, my coworkers would be like, "oh hey, are they going where you going? Is that someone you know?" *LOL* My coworker Gary helped set up a booth for a friend, and now I'm "required" to say hello to her.
Hahaha I've spent more time with Jarrod this morning than I think I've spent with him all week. Poor boy. :^( And I got to play with the rats this morning too!
So, plan for today: Make pancakes, take a shower, get dressed up, head to the Hilton. I don't know yet if I'm taking the bus or having Jarrod drop me off. I want to visit the vendors and the art show and maybe the BPAL Sniff'n'Greet before tonight's music.
Hahahah I have two rats on me. Ah, that tickles. Time to put them in the cage so I can go downstairs, yep. And drink my lovely coffeeeeeeee.
