I think that went well. I emphasized my familiarity with computers (never mind the lack of Mac experience) and my previous customer service experience. .

And sure enough, one of their first questions was, "Are you a People's Co-op member?" I'm kinda proud that I was able to tell them that I attended the board meeting a few weeks ago.

They're talking to about six people. *crosses fingers* Please, please, pleeeeease!

Ha, they not only know which house is mine, they've been in it--they were friends with Claire, the previous owner. Hahaha. Although now I'm mildly embarrassed by the state of the yard. Eep.

Last but not least, this made me LOL like crazy:

Well here is hoping that you got the job or at least the call you back for a second interview. I can tell you from experience that I've always told people a greater number I was interviewing for position that was opened just to see the reaction. Sometimes it's usually a lot smaller than what they say. They say they are interviewing six people but in reality it is probably two or three people.

" promised land" that is indeed some funny stuff.

By the way, how are you doing? the haven't talked to you along time.
