Babies!

My rattie pictures did upload after all. Now I just have to delete all the dang duplicates. And remember which ones I've posted....

The view I was greeted with when I came home a week ago:

They are all piled in there, they get all up on top of each other sometimes.

This is from, I think, the day we brought them home, or the day after. It's the bottom tray of their cage:

Lucy, actively ignoring them:

Blurry hammock shot:

All four are piled in there every morning.

I'm going to miss the snow when it melts. Le sigh. I will not, however, miss the sensation of wet feet in my work shoes. Or freezing toes!

AHHHH!!!!! OMG SO CUTEEEE!!!! I thought they were going to look like Scabbers but I was wrong (no offense Scabbers, although you are a backstabbing bastard, but ANYHOO).

hee!

psst: cuteoverload.com has some rat pictures up right now. So awesome.

Scabbers was a large-ish male. These are baby girls. They'll get bigger, but male rats get fat when they get old!

hahaha I google image searched for Scabbers. Lots of people have given the name to their pet rats. Someone had named two of their rats, Scabbers and Lucius!

Ahh, they're so tiny!

They're only about five weeks old at this point...different breeds of rats grow to different sizes, though; so we honestly have no clue how big they'll get. Probably not too big, girls don't get as big as boys.
