Jarrod got a bunch of copper from work. Most places have a policy that the apprentices get to take all the waste copper cable, so they can sell it to a recycling place. He's been cutting it into chunks so he can peel off the plastic outside stuff.
Now we have this big'ol box of copper. The chunks are between 12 to 18 inches, and he says it's around 12 to 14 gauge. It bends pretty easily, we've made random things out of it, but I don't know how to dull the poky ends very well, so you wouldn't want to wear any of it!
If anyone wants some, let me know. He was planning on taking it in within a week or so.
