The Job Hunt Continues

Damn. Me being home all day makes me a tad post-y.

Anyway. I just applied for this job, which sounds busy and fun. I had to futz with my resumes "objective" line though to take out the stuff about medical offices.

I've mostly been applying for full-time work because that's what's out there, but I was hoping for part-time so I can do the school thing, and this spot is part-time.

Should I bother to apply at staffing services? A lot of the ads on craigslist are for staffing agencies. I keep skipping them, but that might be a mistake.

One craigslist ad for an administrative assistant was only offering $8 an hour. *rolls eyes* Dood, you gotta be kidding me.

Goddamn. Maybe I should try to get my CNA license after all--the listings for CNAs rival the ads for RNs in quantity.

Oooh!! I just applied for this one. Seems to fit my skills/experience pretty dang well.

Anyway. I can't sit here all day and tell you every job I apply for. *rolls eyes*

I got my debit card in the mail today! Yessss! I haven't had one of these in a couple of years!!

If you can afford to wait a month (and you decide to take 6 credits), you'll be able to get on-campus jobs. I'm not sure if they would pay as much as you'd hope for, though.

THe thing is, I'm not even registering for a class until I have a job, because I'd hate to have to drop a class because my work schedule won't work around it. It looks like I might be back in the customer service business to get anything that'll work around school. :^(
