Update, update

aprilstarchildSo, today was my last day at work. It felt very strange, to know I wasn't coming back. I got a goodbye card with some very sweet things written in it by lots of people, and a Moleskine notebook.
I gave two (former) coworkers the URL for my LJ. Hey, you two, when you read this, say hi in a comment or something.
So, yeah, now I'm unemployed. My last paycheck will help, when my tax money comes in and I cash out my (small) retirement fund, that'll help. But on Monday I'm definitely going to start looking for work.
I canceled my pelvic ultrasound. I talked to the NP I've been seeing, and all of the possible reasons for my symptoms, were benign. If I start to have more serious symptoms I'll call her, until then I'm not going to worry about it.

5minutelimit and Doug are going to be here in about 45 minutes. And tomorrow I'm going to cook a bunch of food and go to my parents' house with Jarrod, for Thanksgiving. Mmmm...food...
