aprilstarchildSpaghetti squash is so cool. You just boil it for a bit, take it out of the water and let it cool, and strings of the stuff come out super-easy with a fork.
The recipe we made, was cheap and tasty, and it made a ton of food. Hah, we're set for several days.

Date: 2006-11-13 04:52 pm (UTC)Spaghetti squash can be pretty huge. The only pot in our house big enough to cook the dang thing, was Jarrod's pressure cooker--and it's meant for canning!!
The recipe we made involved making a marinara sauce with mushrooms, mixing it with the spaghetti squash, and putting it in already-baked acorn squash. Very tasty, definitely very squashy!
