I have a bike!

jameslentz has been home a lot with a bad knee, and loves to tinker with bicycles. He'd fixed up an older three-speed for Zoe, but she liked her old one better, so they offered it to me. It's basically an indefinite loan, which means I can keep it as long as I like, but if I decide to get a different one I'll give it back to them.

It's really neat, and all black. Kinda heavy but I'll still be able to get it on to the hooks on the train.

I can't ride it at the moment--we need to find a wrench, we took off the front wheel to get it in the car. Also, the tires need inflating.

Other things I need, ASAP: a lock, a helmet, a headlight and tail light, a rack.

But, whee! A bike!!

Um, I have all of those things. Including wrenches and air of various kinds. And you should carry an extra tube and know how to change it.

That one was my old one! He fixed up two for me, and I just like the one with panda decals better b/c it's cuter. :p

Ah, okay. It's still sitting with the wheel off in the living room, as we don't have the tools here to put it back together. J's gonna grab them at work tomorrow. Wheee!
