I have Chaco's shoes now. I have new shoes, yaaay! My birkenstocks are in bad, bad need of repair. But I have Chaco's now. Aka, the shoes that every hippie on earth wears when they're not in birkenstocks. Holy moly. But they were on sale and they'll be comfy at work, yay!!!

And the guy at the outdoor store I bought them from told me that in September they're getting some lightweight hiking shoes that look like sneakers. They're vegan and have arch support and are water-resistant. Yay!! I wish I could remember the brand name, but I figure I'll just walk into the store in September and ask about them.

The funny thing is, I refused to try PBR for ages because I tend to be a beer snob. I like microbrews. I can rattle off a few kinds and brands I like that are local and all that.

It's all J's fault. *lol*

Just buying it makes me feel like a walking stereotype of a Portlander in some ways. *rolls eyes*

beer snobs unite! c'mon... it's just not worth sacrificing quality for quantity. we'll all be drinking vodka flavored turpentine if we start down that slippery slope. =)

LOL I think I've had some mixed drinks out at nightclubs that might qualify as "vodka flavored turpentine." I seriously had a rum'n'coke once that was mostly cheap well rum. It was so disgusting. I'd have to take a gulp, make a face, and take a break before drinking any more.

When I drink at home, though, my friends and I tend to be snobs. It's cheaper that way, certainly!
