rikell42's computer is down at the moment, so alas, no time to read my friends list or email, as I'm using jenhowell's computer.

Oh jesus, it fucking hurt to get that thing in. *lol* I mean, I knew it would, but ow ow ow. It was short, though, and the NP was good about talking me through it, and the pain lessened almost immediately after she was done. Since then I've just felt kinda like I've got mild cramps, and random bits of sharp pain every few hours or so. Totally manageable.

Besides, there's a lot of comfort in knowing that I don't have to worry about my birth control for twelve years!

Too bad I'm not in any mood to have sex at the moment, har har.

A bike, it would appear, is going to have to wait--rikell42 and I have to move by the first of October. I never did send in my taxes last year, and I have to go over there and get that stuff anyway so I can get my driver's license, so when that money comes back, I'll be able to get a bike. Until then, I'm putting aside $500 a month. Ow.

I just finished reading a book, She's Come Undone by, I think, Wally Lamb. It was like a female version of A Series of Unfortunate Events, I'm not kidding. Even at the end, it's not like it's a completely happy ending, and in the meantime so much awful shit happens to the main character. Oy. I'm so glad I'm done, it was such a depressing read.

Anyway. Off for now so that jenhowell can have some time to herself.
