I don't have a ship's meeting today after all, near as I can tell. Woo, I have another day to myself. I think I'll be nice and lazy. :^)
Actually, I think I'm going to attempt to figure out where all the dishes go and do a load of them. This kitchen doesn't have much counter space, so when the dishes need doing it gets hard to do anything.
I think I might take pictures of the front yard. It's very jungle-ish. I like that, personally. With the bench and the hammock under the tree, and having to walk through lavender to get to the door....
Earlier someone started playing super-loud old music, rather swing-like. It was so random: A song or two was played so loud that it was an objectionable volume from the bathroom here, and then it was gone. Mmkay.
In the lower-right hand corner of the Firefox window, there's a few little images. One is of a stop-sign shape with an "!" in the middle, because there's a "severe weather warning" in effect. There's a little green circle that shows me the radar for the NW of the US if I put my cursor over it--it's completely clear. There's a sun telling me the current temperature (82F) and windspeed. And two little thermometers, full to the top, one telling me it's going to be 101F today, and the other telling me it'll be 100F tomorrow. Yowza!!
