So, Saturday market.

I bought a skirt. Because gods only know, I don't have enough of those. *rolls eyes* It's really cute though...a dark rose over a light rose, cotton wrap-around thingie--like a half circle with ties, so it crosses over in a neato way. It felt so wonderful with it being so freaking hot today. It's also really flattering. I'll probably wear it to Oregon Country Fair. I also realized as I walked around that it's a popular style--there are several booths selling them.

I keep thinking it would be easy to copy--except for the super-narrow hems, on a curve. *wince* Um...no.

I bought Lucy a catnip mouse. There's a booth with a woman who sells damn strong catnip. When I came home I just kinda tossed it in her direction. She gave it a sniff and then spent a good ten minutes alternately biting it, and rubbing it with her head. I took a few pictures, it was just too funny. "KITTYHOOCH.COM" is sewn into the side.

I'm really picky about hats, and didn't see any I really liked. After eating at Veganopolis I headed up to Finnegan's Too. The parasols there are only $6.50, which kicks ass. It's paper glued to bamboo, with a wooden handle. There's an image painted on of some birds, and a bunch of Chinese writing. It was too windy to really use it today, which sucks because the sun was sure out. I damn near bathed in SPF 30 before leaving the house though.

On the way home I stopped at Mirador, on SE 21st and Division. They have the neatest stuff.

I just put a beer in the fridge. I'm going to poke around the cookbooks here and think of something to eat for dinner later--I'm thinking something that doesn't need cooking, like coleslaw. By then the beer will be cold, yay! I'm thinking of finding something to read and hanging out (literally) in the hammock in the front yard. Oh Yes.
