harrpotters, Voldemort can indeed stop The Rock!!

OMG. Too funny. (For those of you less fangirly than myself or a few of my friends *cough*
underthethrow*cough*, the band Harry and the Potters has a song called "Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock."
3. Just as always, when I have Bisquick in the house, I've been having pancakes for dinner every night. D'oh.

rikell42 says that when I get a bike he'll get a bike rack for his car. *squee!* Then not only will we be able to go camping, we can ride our bikes places when we're there, or just bike in places that are too far to bike or aren't tri-met happy.
5. It looks like the Iceland thing might actually happen. It's only a question of for how long--a month would be preferable, because then we could bike most of it, and it's so expensive to get there that it seems a waste to spend any less time. Not to mention that the bus pass thing ain't cheap--I think even with the cost of camping equipment and/or hostels and food, biking it over a longer period of time might be cheaper than bussing it for two weeks.
But it'll be damn hard for either of us to get a month off of work. We both get something like two weeks paid vacation a year, but getting another two weeks of unpaid? Oy.
So the plan right now: Move into a house full of people if I can find one that's a good fit, because that would be so much cheaper than renting a place on my own, and once I move, start setting aside a set amount of money each month for the trip. I need to start trying to guesstimate costs etc. so I know what I'm aiming for, if I want to go next summer.
Herbivore Magazine has a section in each issue where someone writes about being vegan while visiting another part of the world. They've had articles on Krakow, Barcelona, India in general, Amsterdam...I so want to be able to write one about Iceland. :^)

I love Sinfest.
