Note to self: be extra super careful when handling wet glass in the sink, especially when it's heavy. Or you'll break your parents blender. And then have to stick your hand down the disposal to find a chunk of glass.
*headslap*
I think it's still mostly useable. There's no chunks of glass unaccounted for. The lid still goes on, and the crack only goes down an inch. But, yes, it would appear I'm going to be buying my parents a new blender container. They've had the same blender since I was pretty young, but it still works. I'm the person who uses it the most around here anyway.
No one was home to help me compare the taste of vegan Irish Cream with the real thing, which we have in the fridge. I poured a teeny-tiny amount of the "real" stuff (O'Malley's, not Bailey's) and tasted it and spat it out, and then would taste the vegan stuff.
Coconut milk doesn't taste like coconuts. It's rather odd. It's also half solid fat, so you open it and there's this chunky stuff, and when you get past that it's all water.
So! This stuff, near as I can tell, will be okay in mixed drinks. It's truly not bad, but the coconut milk taste really comes out when the "irish cream" is tasted by itself. I think it's also stronger, hmmm. I ended up adding sugar, it didn't taste as sweet as the real thing.

Blend the cashews with 1/2 c water, then slowly add the remaining half cup until it gets all creamy. There ya go!
When I made it, I cooked it with leek and juniper berries, so if it still isn't quite right, maybe add a dab of EB and cook it until it thickens? I think it should work fine raw, though. You could even add sugar if you wanted it to be sweet. :)
