Places I went today:

Lush. I did not stick to the list I brought, which really shouldn't surprise me. Especially since they had a promotion thing going on, and now I have some more bath stuff and a chunk of Snowcake. As if I don't have enough bath stuff and/or soap. *rolls eyes*

Three Monkeys. I love a lot of their clothes. I got a pair of pants I can wear to work--they're black corduroys. They are low-rise and tight around my ass but have wide legs, and a wide waistband. They're dead-sexy and they were on sale. I also got some navy blue knee socks and a floofy hairband.

Uwajimaya's. Seasoned seaweed, ramen, flavored tofu, a red bean cake. Nori maki, cookies. Oh and an issue of Gothic & Lolita Bible. I'm going to bring to Noir in a week when I'm in that dress. I promise it will amuse and/or horrify some of you. Damn thing cost me almost twenty bucks, ouch! It has a pretty fold-out calender thing in it that I'm going to actually cut out and put on my dresser. It also has a sewing pattern in it! Full-size, on folded-up paper. I actually like the skirt/top combo it makes, although I'd need someone to translate the directions, and help me figure out sizing. I probably won't wear it with the ruffly white shirt underneath, though.

Ha ha I think I know a possible Halloween costume.

I also got some of that Bigen hair dye. I only got one box, but I'm wondering if I should've bought two. Amusingly enough, they have directions in English, French, and Spanish; but not Japanese. Even thought it's a Japanese brand of dye.

Uwajimaya's was crammed today. Chinese New Year and all that, apparently. While in that bookstore, I saw a couple of American teenagers dressed head-to-toe in a Japanese style, and they ran over to the CD section and started squealing over something there. It was mildly disturbing.

Another magazine I saw was just cosplay stuff. It was really neato--there was a section that was showing you various ways of looking more masculine if you're female, including several methods of squishing down your boobs. There was lots and lots of pictures, mostly from video games/anime/manga I don't recognize. But there was some Star Wars and Nightmare Before Christmas characters, that were really impressive.

And now I'm going to grab my clothes and get ready to get to Katrina's party and go dancing and crash at [livejournal.com profile] jenhowell's house. Note to self: Bring allergy meds, they have a cat.

Do you like godiva shampoo? I have an extra bar that was the free giveaway last time and I don't like it if you want it.

I have a bar, but I'm not a huge fan of it. I only use it when I'm going somewhere overnight.

I could prolly attempt translating the directions for you if you let me have a look-see at the magazine, seeing as I am prolly the most accessible Japanese-speaking person you know who would do it...

*lol* That's what I figured.

Annoyingly enough, the pattern pieces are printed on the paper one on top of another, so I'm going to have to either go to kinko's and copy them all big, or trace them somehow.
