It's a t-shirt image from veganporn.com....which, as I've said before, doesn't have any actual porn. Other shirts are over here. I'm also fond of the one that's just a carrot.
Heh...anyone wanna make an icon out of the "Vegans Get Plenty" image for me?
Except I'm not getting any actual "sweet lovin'" right now. Grr. *lol*
Work today: Boring. I'm on Rx faxes, and there were hardly any. On the other hand, I think I listened to the same three Depeche Mode songs, off of Violator, close to eight times. Yah, I do that with music. I realize I really like something, and just listen to it until I almost can't stand it anymore. Which is why certain songs so strongly remind me of various times in my life--chances are, I was listening to that song constantly at the time.
And I've realized that Enjoy The Silence does indeed remind me of Iceland. So freaky. Specifically, of hearing it on the radio late at night during fifth grade. I didn't sleep very well that year, so I was awake a lot. *shrug* I'm still madly in love with the song, so it doesn't bother me or anything.
I went to sleep last night listening to Violator on my headphones. Which worked fine, in theory. Except that when Personal Jesus started I woke up. Not because it's louder, but because I always get all excited when that song starts--usually when I hear it, it's either just come on the radio and I'm happy to get to hear it, or I'm at the Fez and immediately have to get up and dance. Reach out and touch me, indeed.
I think I'm going to start listening to my headphones at night again. I have so much music that I need to get to know, and since I stopped driving, it's what seems to work best. On my way to or from work, I tend to want to just listen to my favorite songs, and that means I don't listen to much new (to me) music.
Annoyingly enough, despite me thinking I put a bunch of albums in the correct order song-by-song, they still come up alphabetically. GRRRR!!

Date: 2006-01-26 06:29 pm (UTC)I think the issue with your mp3's may lie in the tags. It's possible your preferences on ripping the cd's to your computer is telling the software not to add the track number as a tag, so it's going to it's next manner of ordering them which would be song title.
So check the tags on the offending albums and see if the track number is included. If not, you're either going to have to add them one song at a time or change your preferences to include the tags and re-rip them. Either way is going to be a pain in the ass-side.
If the tags are included, it could be the player's software is telling it to order the songs by song title. There may be some way of telling it to use track number to order the play-list. Is there software that you use on your PC to interact with the player? Is there a place on the player's UI to change its preferences?

Date: 2006-01-27 06:36 am (UTC)I really need to just go back and put track numbers on all them. It's a pain in the ass, but it bothers me that I'm getting used to Violator in alphabetical order. :^(
