(no subject)

I couldn't do this quiz accurately. I made guesses. I mostly want to see what other people get. Y'know, the people who actually live in Portland. *giggle*

SE 17th
SE 17th Avenue - You're SE 17th! Tri-Met bus #70 is

a favorite among the locals, and there's

plenty of on-street parking for all the

drivers out there. You pass through historic,

blue-collar sections of Portland like

Brooklyn Neighborhood.

Until you get near Holgate, that is. Then things

get a little rougher. I hope you like the

sound of a railroad yard at night. Next stop,

Milwaukie!

Hm I got 82nd and forgot to copy and paste - I thought I answered it all the same again when I went back, but...

and that's way better than SE 82nd. Eew - I bought a crappy car there once. Who hasn't?

I got NW 23rd, but I think my definition of hip (Division and Hawthorne) is very different from the author of that quiz's definition. SE was sorely underrepresented. There's a lot between 17th and 82nd!

No kidding!

The first question didn't give any options I liked, at all. What if I'm just hanging out at Powell's or walking down Belmont? Sheesh.

Oh, and what was your move-in costs? Does he just ask for another month's rent as a deposit?

Yeah, and I think there may have been a $100 cleaning fee or something like that. I don't know for sure, but Mike is a really nice guy, and might be willing to work something out with you (definitely talk to him instead of Joyce if you can). Here's the CL ad: http://portland.craigslist.org/apa/128062563.html

ahh! Whoever wrote that quiz obviously doesn't like southeast, which means they have no fucking clue. "my neighborhood... makes SE Portland look good?!" "... is as cheap as SE, but with half the crime rate?"

Oh. WTFever, dipshit.

cough sorry, that quiz kinda pissed me off.

SW BEAVERTON-HILLSDALE HWY
Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway - You are one of the

main routes to the suburb of Beaverton. With

hills, trees, parks, and surprisingly good

bus service, no one would never believe SW

Portland could be so nice.

Until your pavement meets the Beaverton railroad

tracks, and things fall apart. Not only does

your name change to Farminton Road, suddenly

no one is able to navigate worth a darn.

Welcome to Beaverton. Now turn around and get

the heck back to Portland where you belong.
