I keep forgetting to mention: On Sunday I went to the Ainsworth UCC church for the MLK service. I met up with
demolishedman and got to meet
garden_pixie, whom I'm just now getting around to friending. She wants to introduce me to a girl who we're both sure I've actually met before and just don't remember.
We ate at the Cup and Saucer in NE after that. OMG. They have hot waitstaff. And customers. And tasty vegan options, yay.
My official move-out date is April 1st. I figure I can move into a house in SE even if my credit sucks and I don't have a checking account, but I'm going to try for the check thing on Friday, which is when I next have time. The commute will suck if I don't manage to get a different job by then, but that'll be a nice poke to force me to get a job in Portland somewhere.
My absolute ceiling on rent and utilities is $550. That gives me some pretty good leeway, yay.
I had my yearly review at work. In a few days, I think, I'll know how much my pay increase is, assuming I get one. Blargh. The only truly black spot is my incredible tardiness. I'm late more often than not. I'm attempting to aim for an earlier max, so far so good. *crosses fingers*
Note to self: the next time I want something at a bookstore, I'm going to call their ass up first to find out if they even have it. I ended up walking from Costco to Borders because it took less time than waiting for the damn bus. The book I wanted wasn't there, so I ended up buying a book, a magazine, and a DVD of Bjork concert that cost far less than I would have expected. Excellent. It's a concert from the tour she did for Vespertine.
I think I've said everything I wanted/needed to say. Whew.
