Note to self: When turning on my alarm on Sunday night, it would behoove me to check what time it's set for, as I often change the setting during the weekend.
I woke up at eight am, my alarm set for nine. I'm supposed to be at work at eight. Whoops.
So of course it was one of those mornings where I couldn't find a damn thing. I clocked in at 9:20.
We had an extra rehearsal tonight. The music is really coming together--I'm excited about my concerts this weekend.
Tomorrow I have an eye appointment. In theory if I want to keep the contacts I'm supposed to pay for them. Somehow, I doubt it. Even when they're doing well, they give me 20/25 vision. My glasses give me 20/15. The dry eye is so dang painful. I haven't even tried to wear them since Friday. I think I might buy myself some new glasses (these ones are scratched), and get anti-reflective lenses. I'm glad I at least tried.
My dad has a blood test and catscan tomorrow. His blood pressure has gone up and it's giving him headaches. It drives me nuts to see the way he eats and how little he exercises, and I worry about him. My mom buys him food that isn't good for him (hm, dad has high cholesterol and blood pressure, let's buy him fatty foods!). Never mind that he said he likes Vegenaise, mom buys real mayo, not even low fat. He likes Quorn (a fake meat that's so realistic I stopped eating it even before I went vegan), but she doesn't buy it.
I mean, yeah, he's annoying sometimes, but I don't want my dad to die of a heart attack. :^( It's rather infuriating, because I get hassled occasionally about giving my parents grandkids, but will my dad live to see them??
Also, I strongly suspect my period's going to start tomorrow. Grrr. Better than having it during the concert, I suppose.
