Tonight: Go to Grotto with my parents, see Westview's chorus sing, walk around and ooh and aah at all the pretty things.

Tomorrow: Gather a bunch of old/no longer fitting clothes and go to [livejournal.com profile] jenhowell's place for the clothing exchange.

Sometime in between all that: sew down where the thread is coming loose on my corset.

Saturday night: Corset night for [livejournal.com profile] dragon_mintz's birthday. Bring a $20 bill and only have gin and tonics, so as not to spend overmuch. Skip my lexapro in the morning so I have more alcohol tolerance.

Sunday: Assuming I'm alive, I have a sectional for chorus at eleven am. We'll see. God only knows, I could use the work on one of the songs. Oy. Turns out we all suck at that song.

Sunday evening: Try to recover. Clean the bathroom, get to bed earlyish.

I think my Adderall is giving me dry eyes. My contacts are becoming an issue. No matter how many drops I put in yesterday, they were still dry. These correct my vision by floating on my eyeball. They don't work on dry eyes. My glasses give me 20/15, my contacts? Usually closer to 20/25. Oy.

I know this because there are vision charts upstairs at work and I know how far away to stand.

I would say that's likely.

Adderall is known to reduce the production of mucusmembrane fluid - I've got a terrible case of dry-mouth. It's very hard to talk when your tungue is stuck to the top of your mouth, and your lips are stuck to your teeth. I never had dental-health problems before I went on this blasted med. My eyes get rather dry as well - contacts would be very uncomefortable.

You just had to go awhile without your meds right? It may be that once your system gets readjusted to having them again it will get better. I know if I miss my wellbutrin I get dry eyes and insomnia for a week after I get back on it; but after that I'm fine. Perhaps you'll have the same luck?

I was off my adderall for a while, yeah.

God, I hope you're right. The contacts thing is super frustrating.

Extensive use of the drops can also cause you to produce less of your own tears. Dad had hard contacts for years. He eventually got lazer surgery to correct most of his problem, now he only has to wear glasses for reading.

I wish I could afford laser surgery. It's just too darn expensive right now.

I have a follow-up appointment on Tuesday, and I can talk things over with the optometrist/opthamalogist.

Even if the actual opthamalogist spent a good portion of my last appointment looking at my chest and acting uncomfortable. Damn, that was annoying. I felt like just telling him to take a picture, it lasts longer! I wasn't even wearing a revealing top or anything.

Good luck tomorrow night with the med withdrawal and all. Wish that I could be at Noir to celebrate. I'll be in Seattle this weekend. See you sometime in the future perhaps?

Oh yeah, I like going to the Grotto - it's very peaceful - and I'm not religious either.
