i am going ALONE with NO ONE at ELEVENTHIRTYAM because my best friend and i had a teen-girl-squad pact to see it together except now she has to go out of town for a wedding, but it's just as well because at this point i am Serious about the Movie in a way where i will be making reduced human contact, because i don't trust myself to interact and if anyone says or does anything stupid i may indeed draw blood. also, i'm babysitting so others can see it in the evening. others who, like, have jobs.

oh, yeah, um, i pretty much lost my mind to firefly.

I sure am. All my friends are gaga over it, and I hate missing out on stuff. I missed out on the fun that is Invader Zim for too damn long, for instance.

i've only seen a few zims, i really must remedy that. are you gonna get a little primer on the 'verse beforehand? we'll have to discuss whether it can stand on its own after you see it.

Due to time constraints, I probably won't get any primers. I think that it might be more fun that way!

But if I like it, I'll probably watch/read the background stuff and then watch the movie again.
