aprilstarchildI find some of the coolest things online.
Like the website Crazy Meds. Written by non-professionals, but boy do they do their research. Impartial site on every psychiatric medication that exists, gives lots of scientific info (with tons of links to other information), plus lots of personal experiences.
It's not a terribly "pretty" site, and the frames kinda suck. But I'm willing to look past that, because the site itself is so dang good, even if in some places I'm not sure I agree with the authors. Plus, I need to email them about my experiences with Strattera--I know I'm not the only one to get really vivid nightmares on that stuff.
Be sure to read their thoughts on side effects. I've heard what they say other places, as well, but it never hurts to read it again. It could be summed up as, which is worse? The side effects, or the effects of no medication??
Of course, this calls for a PilzE icon.
