Normally after dancing and crashing at
dragon_mintz's place, I wake up at nine or ten frustrated that I can't get more sleep, spend some time online, and then quietly pack up my stuff and leave while she's still sleeping. This is true no matter how late we stay out.
Not last night. We went to bed around...four? I sleep like a log until she gets up to use the bathroom, and when she comes back she asks in an amused voice, "Is there anything you need to do today?" I replied, "Nothing that has to be done at a specific time, why?" "Because it's 3:30."

I've eaten and checked my email, and I think I'll pack up and go soon. She's still asleep, she has work tonight.
It's not because I took a benadryl, I almost always do that here. But then, I used to be in the habit of taking one every night no matter where I slept, and I stopped doing that this week, so maybe it affected me more.
*looking up bus times* Bwah ha ha, the 48 that goes by the closest stop on Cornell at 5:15, goes to Willow Creek, becomes the 59 (presto change-o) and drops me off at the bus stop closest to my parents' house. It's a shorter walk than the max. Go me.
Maybe I'll eat more breakfast. Yay for shredded wheat and unsweetened soy milk. Silk does taste a little better than the brand I have at home, and it's fortified like most sweetened soy milks. So I'll probably switch to Silk. It bugs me though, because Silk is owned by a huge dairy company. Grrr! One of the other brands needs to sell a fortified unsweetened soy milk. My brain, of course, is screaming at me for orange juice, and it won't get any.
I was good all day yesterday re: sugar. When
dragon_mintz and I were walking around Haggen for groceries, every sweet thing caught my eye, it was so annoying. I drink a diet Red Bull (normal Red Bull is so nasty I don't really notice) on the way out to the Fez, and order a tequila sunrise. The juice hit my mouth and it was so fantastic...oh yes. I had that and a gin'n'tonic, which we believe is actually less grams of sugar. Who knows!?
Look at me, being all good and stuff.
Today: Clean house before my parents get back tomorrow. Attempt to move the dresser into my room, wax the runners, and actually put clothes in it.

Date: 2005-08-14 02:10 am (UTC)It's a really old dresser, and the drawers are uncooperative.
Also, I finally actually looked in the room hiding the drawers, and there's no way I can get to it, there's so much stuff in there. I'll settle for the old plastic shelving, it'll work for now, I just need to get shit off the floor.
I can't believe we still have that plastic shelving--I remember it being in my room in Iceland (we moved there when I was nine) and it had already been around for a while then!
