Please, please DON'T buy Canadian seafood.
A massive seal hunt is about to begin in Canada, which if allowed to proceed will be the largest slaughter of marine mammals in history. It's estimated the 300,000 seals will be killed, some of them as young as 12 days old. Since the fishing industry and the sealing industry are closely related, and since Canada exports 75% of its seafood to the United States, refusing to by Canadian seafood sends a strong economic message to the Canadian government to stop the seal hunts.

Found that out from
erica_the_vegan who, btw, is a really awesome person. With a ridiculously high GPA, holy crap.

I just ate the whole thing in front of the computer. It was mostly iceberg, but it had romaine and carrots and some cabbage and radishes. OMG. So good.
