This quiz entertains the bejezus out of me. Mostly because a good portion of the questions assume you already know the answer to the basic idea behind the meme, or have a background in political science.

I took Political Ideologies with singswithtrees on a total lark several years ago, with Mr. Sonnleitner, and it was the most goddamn useful (not to mention fascinating) class I ever took.

Also, judging by how the questions were worded, I'm not sure I agree with their definition of anarchism. Not all anarchists think violent revolution is the only way to overthrow capitalism. That's the problem with anarchism--almost anyone can lay claim to the name. Most anarchists I've met are anarcho-communists, or very sympathetic to them. Many have also been pretty close to being pacifists. Yeah, there's more info on that contentious discussion over here.

I just noticed the word "pacifist" has "fist" in it. For some reason that amuses the hell out of me.

I should find that political spectrum test and redo it and then post the link here. I'd love to see where my friends are on it. *dorky grin*

Anyone think I'd make a good secondary-level social studies teacher? *giggle*

I haven't been there in ages, myself, I had to double-check to make sure the place still existed....
