Date: 2005-02-19 01:22 am (UTC)It's addictive, but I suck at it. I seriously got to the level that's 1.5 meters, played it until I was incredibly frustrated, and then settled for playing two-player and watching other people roll up giant squids.
I love the sound people make. I never thought I'd laugh so much at the sound of people screaming.
Is it just me, or is the Royal Crotch sorta disturbing? *ahem* Anyway.

Date: 2005-02-20 08:07 pm (UTC)Sorry it's taken me so long to comment on this entry, senior year is a the worst I've decided-- anyway!
OMG! I've seen this book before on http://www.an-saxim.com but I didn't know it was on Amazon, I think it's cheaper there too. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh thank-you for posting this my friend! I think I will do my thesis for humanities on the Anglo-Saxon, becuase I really think I could learn a lot more about them, and it would be killing two birds with one stone (so to speak) because I could learn about the Saxons for my own interest/SCA and do the project for my class at the same time! At any rate I was hoping to within the next couple of weeks to enmass as many Anglo-Saxon books as I can. As long as coinage allows, this one will be one of them hopefully!!
Thanks again April! That was an awesome find on Amazon!

Date: 2005-02-21 12:06 am (UTC)We need to find a day/time, probably once you have the book, to go through and decide on garb and make a trip to Jo-Ann's (or Mill Ends) and whatnot. I'm not the best seamstress, but if I'm working on stuff at the same time as someone else I tend to not get as bored. :-)
