So! Thursday,
sagcat (who had been volunteered for the job by
ninja_pidgeon) came into the wastelands of Tualatin Valley to pick me up from work at three thirty (with Boo in the backseat) to drive me to Milwaukie to get my phone. It was there, but boy were they rude about it. *shrug*
In any case, Yeay! Phone! And then we went back to his place and Boo threw things at me and we watched the live-action show of The Tick and laughed a lot, and I got my belated Christmas present from them--a really neato hat.
And then I went to chorus. The new people had an orientation while everyone else was warming up, and then we were all told to go onstage. Once we were all up there, the other Aurorans sang a welcome song to us, which was really awesome. Got some more sheet music too, and yesterday I finally punched holes in all of it (well, most of it) and stuck it in a binder.
There was an oil spill on TV Hiway yesterday. Which explains why I waited 45 minutes for the 57 bus. I ended up at Freddy's, where I bought Bust (Bjork is on the cover, and *ahem* hey
silverrose79, they have an article about Tori Amos as well) and the Franz Ferdinand album. Yeay! The only band from the last fifteen years they play at the Fez! *happy dance* I had a friend at PCC who was nuts about them, and once while in Portland I ran into her and a friend as they got out of a Franz Ferdinand concert, and she was ecstatic. I always catch onto things late. *lol*
On the other hand, the new Chemical Brothers album is on sale at Everday Music until February 7th. Wooo! If they go on tour, I hope they stop in Portland. They did for their Surrender album.
infernarl's dad is here to help him move. He's.....odd. In a different way than me, I'll have you know. *shrug* He talks constantly no matter what else anyone else is doing, and he's always lecturing. He's always trying to teach you something--even if you say you already know it.
Mmmmm....bagel. Maybe I'll eat the other one too.
