I haven't had a chance to update in days, but just to let you know: I am weeding through my friends list. People who don't post very often, or that I don't know in person (and am not otherwise connected to via fandom or something), or that I met only once, are likely to be defriended.
It's nothing personal, and to be honest, I hate to do it. I live in mortal fear of "missing something," and I know that some people take defriending a tad personally.
But the fact is, that even on a normal day it takes over an hour to read the posts, and people's links, and reply to the good ones, and ....you get the idea. I work a full-time job now and next week I start singing with Aurora, and between that and my occasional social life, I don't have time to keep up with sixty to eighty posts a day. That may not be a lot for some of you, and for other people, that would be overwhelming...but for me, it's too much.
