Fandom stufffff

Someone who's familiar with fanfiction but not Johnlock asked me that, and this is copy/pasted from my response:
The Progress of Sherlock Holmes by ivyblossom
(First-person, Sherlock's POV, lots of pining)
A Cure for Boredom by emmagrant01 (It has a plot, but very much focuses on the sex. Be aware that while the original is from John's POV, she's been re-telling it from Sherlock's POV as well.)
Cooperative Principle by bendingsignpost (Technically but only barely an AU, since it has John working as a teacher at Bart's. Do you like angst? This is some damn good angst.)
Performance in a Leading Role by madlori (Straight-up AU. John and Sherlock as actors. Like many AU's, it sounds ridiculous, but it's one of the most popular fics in the fandom and for very good reason.)
So what fics would you recommend? I realized after I wrote these out that they're all long, but I guess longer fics make more of an impression on me.
