The original lyrics to the tune we know as "Carol of the Bells," as given by Kitka, translated from the Ukrainian:

Song of good cheer! A swallow is here chirping her song, calling to the master of the house: "Come out, master, and take a look at your manger. The sheep have mated and little lambs have been born. If your animals stay healthy, you will have a pot of money. Should your money turn to chaff, you still have a good-looking wife! Song of good cheer, a swallow is here.

Hah! I don't know why that amuses me so much. Probably the part about how a slightly religious Christmas carol originally had a lyric pointing out that you have a good-looking wife.

The Aurora Chorus concert last night was awesome. I am so excited about singing next term, it's ridiculous.

In other news: I overdid the bleach while cleaning the bathrooms today and I think I must have singed my nose hairs or something. They feel weird.
