World Naked Bike Ride: Awesome.

Went back to the dance party for the first time ever. Was two hours late for my shift setting up before hand but did help out. Also, ended up helping with beer for about fifteen minutes because I hated waiting in line so I figured I'd help out and make it go faster...

Theo was semi-flirty. Got lots of compliments on my breasts, which were glittery. No one sees my wings in the dark and everyone walks into them. (Yup, underthethrow, I wore'em again.) My striped stockings are just about goners...lots of runs and holes. Kinda sexy.

Had fun on the ride taking advantage of my being a woman to yell "SHOW ME YOUR TITS!!!" to every woman I saw. Nobody did. Oh well. C'est la vie. Also, between the cops diverting us and random cars in the road and people crushing in to see us, the ride in places ended up so slow we were either stopped, or walking. SUCKAGE.

Rode Ye Olde Raleigh again. I love that bike.

I'm supposed to be either at the hostel or Sweetpea for brunch in....less than five hours. HAHAHAHA. We'll see.

So on the ride last night, as we were going down Burnside near the bars (before we all slowed down and stopped), a guy on the side of the road saw me, did a double take, and started pointing and shouting, "I WORK WITH YOU!! I WORK WITH YOU!!" I didn't get a good look at his face.

It's entirely possible, as some of the guys at my temp job are bros or dudes or frat-type-boys. As in they gel their hair, and on casual Friday they always wear polo shirts and flip-flops. Bleh.

I'm completely unashamed of doing the WNBR, the other girls in filing already knew I was going. The question is, will the dude say something tomorrow morning?

Going to the photobooth ride, and Shawn is coming with me!! I gotta get cash. Hopefully we get some nice photos. :^) Maybe I should wear something nicer?

The fire marshal estimated five thousand people on the ride. We were expecting three.

More WNBR

I keep remembering more stuff from last night and wanting to share....

So we're on Burnside, and the Naked Bike Ride has become the Naked Bike Walk, when I see a girl wearing a Twilight tshirt on the side watching.

I shout, "TWILIGHT SUCKS!!" She looks startled and stares at me. "What?" she asks.

"Twilight sucks! I read all of them! They're sexist bullshit!!" After that, the ride started moving, so I don't know what her response to that was.

I went on a ride today where we visited different photobooths. Now I have three strips of black'n'white photos of me and Shawn. One of them is so fucking awesome that once Shawn scans them, I will probably have a different default livejournal icon. A bunch of them were goofy; in some I had a fake mustache drawn on a finger, in some he's wearing my horns.

One of the photobooths was at the East End, a restaurant/bar/club that's at Noir's old location. It's fucking surreal to be there and have it all painted in lighter colors and playing upbeat music. They have a bar upstairs, and the downstairs section with the bar where the deejays used to be, was closed off--I think they have shows there. I have so many memories of that place!
