May. 4th, 2009 03:46 pmJust got a call from the temp agency--I'm laid off. I didn't do anything wrong, but another doctor left (four in two months, makes me wonder) and they just wouldn't have enough work for me. It was getting awfully slow, I was having to find things to do.
On the upside: The guy from the agency sounded optimistic about me getting something else. Also, I probably qualify for unemployment, as this time I was laid off instead of fired.
On the downside: I don't have any extra money. After I get my last paycheck on Friday ($250), that's it. Total. And the job market sucks even worse than it did before.
