WTF? Another weird dream:

I'm flying to Chicago (in a plane). Even in my dream, by the time I get there, I'm like, "Why am I going to Chicago?" I think it had something to do with Bitch magazine, but they're based in Portland in real life.

But, yeah. And I was worried about what to pack, and when I got there all I had were semi-dorky clothes instead of stylish stuff and I was mad.

And sometimes dragon_mintz was with me and sometimes she wasn't.

I had to make two connections on the flight, too.

I have my final exam in my lab class tonight, and then karaoke, wooo! jenhowell isn't going last I heard, but I still am, and so are two of my coworkers. I'm going to try and sing Madonna's "Into the Groove" because I love that song and I think I can pull it off.

Also: Finally got tired of not having enough shoes and went to Payless downtown and bought two pairs: boots with fake-fur edging and bobbles (I figure if they drive me too crazy I can cut them off), and little cute flats. They had buy one get one half off, and the second pair was on sale, and then it turns out if you work downtown you get another 10% off. So while I did spend some money, I got a pretty damn good deal. I was going to wait until I could afford some vegan Earth shoes, but that won't be for a while, and I really needed some winter-suitable shoes that I could wear on my bike (I'll have to tuck in the bobbles) and weren't falling apart!
