Jun. 3rd, 2007 11:10 pmWell, to put it this way, Jarrod drank too much last night. And this morning he was still having trouble keeping down gatorade. Poor thing. I've had a headache all day, myself.
Seeing Aurora sing was awesome. There was a bunch of tickets set aside for the evening show's volunteers, so I was sitting between two former chorus members--one of whom had started when I did. They sang about three songs I knew, and the woman to my left during the show had even been in my section, so we were mouthing along a lot.
Before and after and while I was working the CD table, I got lots of chorus members asking me when I was coming back. *lol* I don't know if I will or not....I do always like the winter show better...
Working the table meant lots of sitting around doing absolutely nothing for hours (I had a novel but I couldn't focus, I was mad I hadn't brought my little paper journal), and then about half an hour of insane business after the show. Yikes!
And I still don't have my bike. I took it to Seven Corners, and they told me it would be an hour before they'd get to it, and I didn't have an hour. So I left it there, and of course they're closed on Mondays, so I don't get my bike until Tuesday. Grrr. It's just a flat tire! Fuck! I shoulda just taken it on the bus to
jameslentz or something, I dunno.
I bought bus tickets, and I'll be reimbursed for them, but after a few days of riding everywhere, I feel like someone cut my legs off. Especially when I saw the bus schedule for the period of time after I'd be leaving the Newmark Theatre. Thankfully the timing did work out really well, because the buses only come by once an hour at that time of night. I still ended up carrying around my helmet all day, which was irritating.
Anyway. I'm off to bed and then work tomorrow. The weekend is too damn short.
